You need a gift for setting all of this up :) Once I've worked out how the credit side of things works, I'll make sure you get something more relevant ;)
Yeah, it's exciting! Need to get some snaps from my allotment to share, although it was looking a lot more impressive / pretty before I chomped through most of the salad bed...
Hi Gill, thanks for not giving up on me. I hope I can contribute occasionally when I get the time. It's a brilliant site and you must have worked so hard getting it all together. Good luck with it all, you deserve it to be a huge success.
Thanks for the welcome Gill. First chance to have a good wonder round tonight. It looks as if this is going to be a fun and informative community to belong to :)
So glad you like my photos. I spotted a couple on the front page last night :o) Of course, that's fine. I might add a couple more and possibly amend a couple to have watermarks on if that's ok. I had a few examples recently of my photos being used in magazines etc where they have just been lifted off the web or my blog - I'm not commercial photographer, but I found it a bit annoying where people were using things and not asking so I am trying to at least watermark with thingswemake if that's ok.
Thanks for the Birthday wishes! Looking forward to getting back to dry land ( I'm working on a ship at the moment!) and entering into the community a bit more... desperate to get back to my garden again :-( Well done for the site - such a great idea!
Hi Gillian; Just wanted to wish you a Happy Christmas, and to publicly say thank you for creating this wonderful community of gardening enthusiasts. So glad I discovered it - it gives me a huge amount of enjoyment and has put me in touch with loads of like-minded people. Best Wishes for the holiday, and I hope UKVG goes on to even greater achievements next year. Mark.

I'm only in my first year of allotmentering so not much produce this summer yet as I've been focusing on clearing the very overgrown plot!!!

Loving the site. Glad it's so popular already!
There's been a definite allotmenty theme running through both cards and pressies! Which is nice.
I'm fairly new to growing my own veggies so hope to find loads of great tips and advice here :D
