I'm one of the editors at Fifty Magazine, which is a brand new online mag for the 50+ - I've been having a look over your discussions, blog and comments and have really enjoyed reading everything!
Would you like to have your gardening tips/hints/pieces featured in our Readers' Corner on the site? It would be exactly the same as the things that you put on here - just the content would be on our site as well, complete with you as the author and a link to UK Veg Gardeners so that our readers can see everything else you've written and the rest of the site.
I'm really glad that you like the look of the magazine - if there's anything you think it's missing do let me know. Having read through your blogs I think they'd be perfect for our Blogs section, but I don't want to pressure you to write extra stuff specifically for Fifty. In the next couple of days I'll change three of the blogs and replace them with yours, with a link to this site/your page so that people know where they came from.
Welcome to Gardening for Wildlife Elaine and well done on the Siskin. I always enjoy seeing these birds, though I do not have them in my garden I am a bit too exposed overlooking fields. As compensation I am regularly getting visits from a male and female Reed Bunting

If you like the idea of this please let me know!
Thanks,
