You're not going to like this but I'm relieved that you (an expert grower) get the same diseases that we mortals do. So for me, I feel a certain camaraderie with you as mine got the same last year. However, I do realise that you take this much more seriously as you are in competition, and can only hope that you can find a way to deal with this so that your parsnips come up to the standard that you need. Watching with interest and wishing you good luck.

I though canker only attacked the root - it looks more like flea beetle to me.
