Well the harvest has started at last, 11lbs of goosberries yesterday, today mountains of broad beans and peas, not to mention the potatos.
The tomatos are starting to ripen and if it's like last year they will be everywhere! Last year to use lots up i tried making Tomato ketchup. one recipe from the River cottage preserves book and one from john and val harrisons book, both were dismal to say the least, in fact i have never had a recipe from the harrison book that has worked ! So does anyone have a recipe please, one that resembles commercial stuff roughly? or one that doesn't as long as its nice !!
