No Fred - tomatoes, onions, garlic, chillies, sugar and white wine vinegar  - stewed down till no liquid remains - done.

I've been pickling about all day with beetroot and onions but I really fancy having a go at the sauce. Does it keep well after opening?

For a few days in the fridge yes - but I usually use the whole jar at a time

Looks extremely good. I've just done slow roasted tomato, chilli, garlic and red pepper sauce.

As soon as my peppers ripen I'll be giving that a go too.  It seems to be taking ages for them and the chilli peppers to turn red.  Not quite sure what's going on this year.

It's been the worst year weather wise ive ever known. I'm just hoping it gets better and some sun comes out to ripen fruit and veg up. My dads tomatoes have been a complete failure and that never happens he's not impressed.

My greenhouse toms aren't doing too bad but the outdoors are a disaster.

Have only got outdoor toms, (Red Alert) and they are profuse, a must for next year, excellent flavour and aroma too.
