Todays Harvest
Runner beans, 2 cauliflower heads, 1 Romanesco cauliflower, courgettes, cucumber, Marmande tomato and my first Crystal Lemon cucumber - looking suspiciously like a lemon

I had to pick the cauliflowers as the slugs had begun grazing on the tops - otherwise I would have left them a bit longer.

beetroot, plums, runner beans, tomatoes and turnips for me today. Most of the harvest for the last couple of weeks has been going in the freezer.

No plums at all this year - frozen a few bags of courgettes to use for soup and carrots for stews - we don't have a big freezer so I have to be fairly selective what I fill it with.
