The Pop bottle garden

I planted out a late sowing of cabbages and psb yesterday - they had already been nobbled by something whilst they were in the greenhouse so I thought a bit of protection was in order to keep the butterflies and slugs off till they had established themselves. I hope this does the trick.

Comment by Catherine on August 7, 2012 at 22:04: Snap.....Lemonade and Cider have been copiously consumed only for the purpose of using as cloches and for sinking in the ground near toms.....that's my excuse and I am sticking to that...LOL! You can also cut them in half and use them as self-watering containers for seeds and seedlings ;)
