I picked the last of the peas and broadies yesterday - against all the odds both have been surprisingly good harvests - I have sown another batch of peas in containers which are a couple of inches tall so in a few weeks time I should have another crop to harvest then that will be it until next year - back to Mr. Birds Eye.
Comment by Catherine on August 7, 2012 at 21:48 It is an awful pity to see the peas go , Elaine. One of my favorite veg and easy to freeze. Mine are all gone to this year :(
Comment by elaine rickett on August 8, 2012 at 7:03 I have a new sowing in a trough but it will be ages before I have any more peas - hopefully a bit of warm weather will help them to put a spurt on.
