A day of mental weather on Sunday meant that two slices of allotmenteering had to fit either side of a big meaty filling of a pretty serious thunderstorm. Comment by Catherine on August 7, 2012 at 21:32 Lee....the weather is so unpredictable everywhere this year, I just heard on the early news that South Africa/Johannasburg had snow!!!! We in Ireland had a good deal of blight this year too and it will affect the prices of veg in the shops too this autumn and winter, but at least we won't all have to emigrate yet..LOL! That dam bindweed....it would creep up around my knees if I stand still too long...!
It has been hard this year, but some nice harvests have boosted morale :) Tactics may be needed for next year!
