Spring frosts and cold weather
Having succumbed to the temptation to plant out half my beans last week, Ive spent 15 minutes this evening covering them with fleece and a length of carpet.
There has been news of a change in the weather starting tomorrow and I wanted to get ahead of it.
Hopefully everyone here is protecting their more tender plants outside tonight.

I've got nothing outside that needs protecting from a bit of ground frost. It's air frost you need to worry about. Broad beans are quite hardy and can easily cope with a bit of frost.
