Saturday on the plot

Early start on the morning burning the brambles that I'd cut back from the boundry behind my plot.Fire going well filled in my bean trench with a few barrow loads of compost.Removed the few weeds that had grown through the weed supresent on paths and covered with a thick layer of wood chips .These are supplied free the guy who trims trees is glad to get rid of them,they look good and keep your boots clean.

Lunch time collected my laptop from the repair shop [new hard drive] called in cafe opposite full English breakfast and a mug of builders tea,you know the type you can stand a spoon up in it.Back to the allotment collected friend and we went to our gardening club trading sheds,rock dust,seaweed meal and trench fertilser.

Back to plot made sure fire was out then home for a shower to get did of the smell of smoke clothes in washing machine and a nice nap.Late evening cheese and home made pickles two glasses of home made Cumberland Brandy,slept like a log,'aint life grand?
