Impressed, shall give your method a go. Maybe on the christmas spuds, growing that way will make it easier to protect them.

It would be interesting to compare the yields you get with mine but I suppose as a shower you are not going for maximum yields.

There are NVS members who do not show and use this method to grow their spuds. Saves all the back breaking digging and forked spuds I guess.
