David, I have looked at your blog and your Welcome allotment. Things seem to be coming along nicely for you. I love the seclusion on your plot and would die for your beach hut...LOL!

Pity about the state of the plot next to you as yours is so tidy!

That`s the way it goes Catherine I have tried to get the guy to clear his plot (he`s a gardener by trade would you believe) perhaps stronger measures are needed, yes the beach hut is lovely but the rent per annum is very expensive, but the grandchildren love it, will no doubt be in touch again, kind regards, David

What a lovely blog. Tried to subscribe but it wants to take me via Facebook which I don't really use. Is there another route?

Yes, it takes you through to Facebook. In Wordpress it's in the Widgets section but don't worry about it if it's a pain.
