Light nights

Not sure I like all this daylight - it's 9.30 and no sign of darkness yet - it makes me feel guilty that I'm not outdoors doing something. I like proper evenings, when after a good day's toil you come indoors, light the lamps, get a good fire going and relax, with no guilt attached.

I like the light mornings where I've fed the birds and had breakfast whilst watching them; checked blogs, emails and forums then off to the plot nice and early.

I have to stay up until they go in so that I can close the coop door. Naughty chickens! :) My neighbour has spotted a fox so I can't sleep a wink if I know they're not locked in.
