Put together some simple frugal planters for strawberries. Hoping to get a bit of an early crop from them and leaving enough room for my tomatoes and peppers.

Comment by Colin Robinson on February 28, 2012 at 23:15 I use hanging baskets in the greenhouse for an early crop of strawberries. It seems a waste to have all that space available before the tomatoes grow up and not to use it. Even in an unheated greenhouse you should be able to get strawbs at least three weeks before the outside crop.
