After having lost most of the bulbs I planted last year due to foxes digging them up, I am taking no chances this year having just planted a load of tulips. A frame, cross strung with double netting. We are lucky at our allotment society in that we do not have a fixed rule on veg only so these and other flowers I intend to plant will be for home use as cut flowers as well as for the bees and butterflies.
Maybe I need some like that...?
