Did more digging today, over half of the main plot done now.

Also, after putting the garlic in a couple of days ago, its now been joined by moving of the chives. They were getting clogged with moss where they were today. Don't know if it'll be different in their new location.

Ordered a compost bin from Primrose. Should come in a day or two hopefully. Then the old bin can be left to 'mature'.

Sunny today. A light frost outside, minimum in the greenhouse last night was 0°C. Maximum in the greenhouse was 15°C.

We grew garlic successfully for the first time last year - we bought the cloves from the Malvern Show - they were really strong tasting and really productive - Jane

Strong is good. Don't understand all this 'I don't eat garlic at lunchtime, it's so antisocial'. Or am I a sociopath?
