I have cleared the broad bean patch - what do you suggest I follow on with?
Comment by Colin Robinson on July 18, 2012 at 22:33 I've stuck some cabbages in the spot where the first of the broadies were. Plenty more beans to pick and I did a late sowing which are now coming into flower so I've also got lots of assorted brassicas waiting in the wings to fill the gaps. I hate gaps!!

Comment by Joanne on July 19, 2012 at 8:15 Two or three more weeks for my broad beans to come out, I have a selection of brassicas to go in there when they are big enough. Though i will have to rig up some kind of contraption so they will be safe from the pigeons.
