Thanks to Colin, I signed up for blight warnings from the website he gave in one of his posts
My spuds are looking fantastic but I had a blight warning text to my phone today so panic stations set in
The rest of the plot if also looking good
Comment by Darren Blick on June 3, 2012 at 20:33 Well I sprayed my spuds against it but now it appears I may have caught it on my celery
I never knew celery could get it but I have googled my problem and yes, it looks like celery blight
Comment by Jan Willetts on June 6, 2012 at 10:20 I've also received a blightwatch warning-not for blight itself, but a full "smith" period which means a combination of heat and humidity known to be ideal conditions for blight. I've checked my spuds and they look ok at the moment, so will keep checking them. Its a really useful service.
