My last post was a bit 'doom and gloom' so I thought I would do one on a more positive note. The greenhouse is empty now of everything but tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. I don't feel as though as I am gasping for air everytime I walk in there with every nook and cranny filled with seedlings and growing plants, waiting to be planted out. continued

Comment by Colin Robinson on June 23, 2012 at 22:04 I get the feeling that doom and gloom is going to be the theme for this year!
Had it not been for the greenhouse I think my veg plot would be looking very sad. Your container peas are looking good, were they started in the greenhouse? I did some and put them out when they reached about a foot high and now they are giving us regular pickings of fresh peas to munch on.
Comment by elaine rickett on June 23, 2012 at 22:26 Yes I always start them off in pots now - there is less chance of damage when they are good strong plants. Won't be long now before we have a picking or two.
Comment by elaine rickett on June 23, 2012 at 22:28 Thanks Catherine - be a while yet before we are eating anything though.
