Hello Donna, my broad beans are about the same as yours, I set quite a few more in early April and they are about a foot tall with the first sign of flowers. my runner beans are taller than me and lettuce are growing in various containers, somethings eating my french beans, rotters.  I m growing ooutdoor cucumbers for the first time, they re in the garden near my south facing garden wall, I ll take note of suggestions to take some of the cucumbers off, I m growing burpless variety.  I m using 2 old recyling boxes to grow courgettes, for the first time as well.my cherry tomatoes are growing in large containers, and 2 Shirley tomatoes are in the garden. I had a good crop of purple sprouting broccli during late march and April, only about 12 plants, but enough for 2 meals a week for 2/3 of us for about 4 weeks, and they were delicious.
