having a herby day
It's been a good day for sowing herbs so I did Basil (two types), Cumin, Dill, Hyssop, Oregano, Russian Tarragon and Summer Savoury. Some will go in the propagator but others can take their chances in the cold greenhouse.
The perennials are springing back into life with some nice flowers on the Rosemary
and fresh new growth on the sage.

Sadly I lost a lot of my herbs this winter so am going to have to grown some more!!
Do you know the variety of Rosemary?? I have a majorcan one last year and it was fantastically fragrant and was excellent for cooking with...

Sorry, Steven, I'm useless at keeping labels so it's just rosemary. I lost a previous one to the severe winter two years ago so I'm keeping this one in a pot so I can move indoors if I have to.

Never had a lot of success with direct sowing of summer savoury, so might try it in a seed tray or module first this time.
