Good Morning PeepsDigging the plot is well under way and hopeful that it will be finished by Monday evening.  Where the grow bags are we will not be digging again, due to former plot holder's greenhouse exploding a couple of years ago and the glass still not having been moved.  Don't really want to get into digging glass.As you…See More

"thanks I have kept the better cross pieces form the first 2 boards and so by the end of jan, beg of Feb I will have more than enough to do the whole plot and possibly have enough to make some raised beds aswell "

Hello allcan someone tell me if you can use old fence panel wood as edging as a temporary measure on an allotment.Our fence panels are the type which are held at each end horizontally and have up rights holding them at intervals.  I have dismantled some and given some of the upright to my friend for his wood burnmer but was hoping to use some of the other wood as edging until we can get some proper stuff when money is not so tight.  The wood was painted only 2 yeras ago so still has some life…See More
