"If the haulms are very badly damaged it's very difficult for them to recover. It happened to me last year and I don't think the spuds bulked up much at all after that, even though they got a high potash feed. Don't give up on them…"

" Above is how they looked on the 12th Feb,2012.I was keeping the compost warm. I had 2 rows in this bed. And below on the 26th March.  Probably 6 seed spuds in both rows. "
