Hi Yasmin, nice to meet you!  I'm curious, are you part of the Waltons team as you've flagged up their web shop as your website?  I'd love to read more of your vertical veg growing as I met a local gardener last summer who grows veg up and down his house, from every windowsill, even having a wormery on the balcony!

Yes I am but  I grow my own vegetables in my own small city garden. Vertical growing is great and so easy to do, because I don't have alot of space in my home garden I use vertical growing techniques throughout. Its great for so many different types of vegetables.

I am currently writing a post about creating a living roof on garden sheds. A living roof looks great but also insulates sheds and you can grow many types of moss. Do you think thats a good idea?

Hi Yasmin and welcome. It's nice to see another container grower. I have a good size garden but I still love growing things in containers for all sorts of reasons. I like the idea of vertical growing and made a 'ladder allotment' this year and will probably expand on the idea next year.

A ladder allotment sounds like a really good idea. I'm thinking about putting a living roof on my shed so I'm going write a short article about how to do it soon.  So keep your eyes peeled.
