Well, here is my half-plot which I have just took on. The other half was viewed at the same time as mine with another newbie but I'm not sure if they have decided to take it on.
Having had a chat with some of my new neighbours the plot was well used and maintained. I've made a start digging it over to get it…

Hi to everone at UK Veg. Ive dabbled in growing a bit of veg in the past but have just been given my half plot allotment after a 2 year wait. Was not expecting that in December but really looking forward to the challange. I will upload some photos soon so as to keep track of my efforts ( good or bad). Any advice on starting or taking on an allotment for the first time will be gratefully received-lots of hard work lies ahead.
