I have been in Cornwall for about 12 years and here for about 8 and I absolutely love it. I started growing a few veg last year but this year I'm planning to grow much more. I'm in the middle of making some raised beds to grow the majority of the veg but this year I will be growing my salad leaves and salad veg such as radishes and things in empty fruit crates which I'm going to raise off the ground because I have a bit of a slug problem and last year the slugs ate more salad than I did. I have to confess I did look at buying a house in France, it appeals to me very much and now my children are grown up and it's just me and my animals it's very tempting, it would just take a lot of planning. For now though, I can't wait to get planting again :-) Kay
