"That sounds amazing! Never realised wool could be used as compost.  Depending on how much you have, you could always put a shout out on Etsy in case there are any crafters out there looking for wool to spin or felt...goodluck with it! : )"

Mad neighbours...floods and the war on slugs!!

On Tuesday evening I stayed up a little late watching a film and went to check the chickens around 12am...walked out and heard a rather strange noise...my dog Vader didn't seem bothered so i got brave and opened the gate into my veg patch.  My neighbour in his wisdom had decided to put on his sprinkler.  Most of which seemed to be going into my garden, over my chicken coop and more importantly my veg patch... Sunday Garden

My garden is coming together, today seen me planting into my new raised beds.  I feel such a sense of achievement It's been a slow process, I have a condition called Ankylosing Spondylitis so over the past year in building my garden i have at times had to rely on the kindness of others and take a break here or there.  Finally though I'm on a new medication and I'm starting to get back to my old self.  I bought a large quantity of old builders scaffolding and i used it to make three large…
