Comfrey

I have been reading up about Comfrey as I understand it is fantastic for the compost bin but it is a weed.  Has anyone had any experience with growing Comfrey on their plot or in their garden?  I read that the best Comfrey is Bocking 14.  Has anyone had any experience about this type?  I am in two minds about ordered it as I don't want it to take over the plot on my allotment.  Any help would be appreciated please.  Thanks.

Butternut Squash

Posted on December 19, 2012 at 15:26 0 Comments

I had a nice surprise a few days ago when some of my butternut squash seeds (from a butternut squash I had bought) started sprouting.  They were looking sorry for themselves and were very yellow, but having looked after them they are now bright green and in good health. I don't know what they are but I hope they survive winter.
