"i am growing (or rather attempting to grow!) Purple ukranian tomatoes, eygptian beans, carlin peas and victorian peas as well as some dragon purple carrots amoungst other normal stuff. anyone ever grown any of these before? should be good "

"This subject came up on a different site last year, and top growers, insisted on peat in the compost, coir is lacking in vital nutrients, and then obviously what Colin has said above.. "

"I would suggest that you start your gardening experience by following the seed packet instructions and the weather, when you have achieved good results with the time honoured method, then try the LUNAtic way....."
