A new milestone at the allotment! I'm celebrating the realisation that for the first time in 6 years I've managed to put my whole allotment plot into productive use. However I'm not celebrating too much, as I think like many other people, the amount of fruit and vegetables actually ready for eating is not much at all! It's been a very busy weekend at the allotment. Earthing up potatoes, weeding between onions / garlic and putting nets over the fruit were the more production tasks. But the rain is just making everything grow, and seemingly fastest of all, the weeds. But the weather seems to have its biggest impact on the blackcurrants ...
