"As it's still early in the month, you could also try sowing cabbage ready for harvest Feb to May next year.  I'm putting in a row of seeds for Offenham2, a hearted spring cabbage, as I seem to spend a fortune on these in the shops!"

Good things to plant in September?

I've just cleared out the end raised bed in my garden (pulled up the spinach that had bolted skywards and all my carrots) and I'm now wondering what to replace them with! Am I right in thinking I can sow more spinach now? I've also got some swiss chard which according to google I can plant now I think? I've also got some late purple sprouting broccoli seed but I have a feeling I've missed the window for planting these? Any other recommendations gladly received! Thanks! HelenSee More
