Sustainability of Fertility

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a lovely weekend.I was wondering how you all manage nutrient inputs, specifically whether you bring in fertilisers/compost/manure? I try to keep as 'closed' a system as possible, relying on home made compost and green manures. I bought some liquid feed for my peppers in pots but intend to make my own in a big stinky barrel for next year. Food waste from bought in fruit & veg also makes a significant contribution. Are there particular crops/ways of growing…See More

Thank you. He is you know, when he's not making films in Hollywood he spends all his time growing prize mangelworzels. He doesn't like to talk about it coz it doesn't go with his image and whatnot.

All the best, Trish
