"Hi Emily, Great! I think you'll have an incredible and fun time gardening in a polytunnel that big and in such a good location. There are indeed all kinds of things you can grow, and it's still not too late - although quite a few…"

"wow very envious! There's plenty you can grow now, I'd love to have the room. I think some carrots, winter radishes and oriental veg would be great and you can pick up brassica plants that will grow on nicely in such a mild climate."

"Think before you plant but... Make space for an Asparagus bed and leave room for some early sowings (March) of climbing peas and beans. But now you could be sowing oriental veg, corn salad, Winter lettuce, broad bean, winter peas, carrots, turnips…"

WInter polytunnel planting.

I am just about to move into a property that has an absolutely massive (probably 40' long) poly tunnel in the garden! So.......what do I plant in it? Which vegetables will crop well in the winter in a poly tunnel? I am on the Isle of Wight so the weather is reasonably mild.Last year was my first year growing vegetables so I am a novice! Any advice gratefully appreciated.See More
