Risk of Legionnaires in bagged compost??

Hi everyoneHappy spring at last!  We have a lovely sunny afternoon here so I was going to pot on my tomatoes.I have a bag of New Horizon Peat Free Organic compost.  It has been sitting outside in all weathers since last spring as I didn't need it.  Just leaning against a wall.  I'm sure I read somewhere that there is a risk of Legionnaires in bags of compost left out.Is this true?  Can I use it??  Should I take any precautions or just sling the whole bag away unopened??ThanksDonnaSee More
