Espalier Apple

I'd like to grow an espalier eating apple on a warm west facing sheltered wall in my garden and would appreciate any advice on supplier and variety please. I know the basic principles so would like to make sure I have a suitable maiden tree, but don't think I'm going to be successful if I root around at B&Q or the local garden centre. Your advice is, as always, much appreciated.See More

Looks like we got the same challenge

I visited my local allotment show for the first time this year and thought I'd like a go

This will be my first season trying to attempt to show

Check out my blog on how I started and how I'm doing

I have two very sorry looking PSB plants in the graden, but am keeping my fingers crossed I get some broccoli from them. You're right they should be cherished. I like PSB better than asparagus

Beginners luck! First time ever of growing them but I made mistakes. I didn't pick them small enough or fast enough! I will try again, enjoyed the challenge.
