I'd like to grow an espalier eating apple on a warm west facing sheltered wall in my garden and would appreciate any advice on supplier and variety please. I know the basic principles so would like to make sure I have a suitable maiden tree, but don't think I'm going to be successful if I root around at B&Q or the local garden centre.
