Webbs Lettuce - How come not attacked by slugs??
Loads of slugs on allotment but not touched these. I threw down a 30p packet of seeds not thinking they would even grow much!!

"Complete luck I think. These are from a cheapo packet from Wilkos. I'll keep growing them and see if I can get them as big as the ones in shops!"

Darren O replied to Jade Hwang's discussion When could I plant out beans, tomatoes and cucumbers?"I put my runner beans out last week and next week I'll put out the cucumber, courgette and pumpkin even though they are not so large in the pots at the mo but its June next Sat so out they go!"
