Got down to -5 in the greenhouse last night. First time its been below zero in there for ages. Spent the afternoon harvesting a lovely crop of house bricks from under the veg patch.

Did more digging today, over half of the main plot done now.
Also, after putting the garlic in a couple of days ago, its now been joined by moving of the chives. They were getting clogged with moss where they were today. Don't know if it'll be different in their new location.
Ordered a compost bin from Primrose. Should come in a day or two hopefully. Then the old bin can be left to 'mature'.

Nick came round with Elliott and Robbie to help with getting rid of woody waste by burning it. Not something I've had to resort to for years, but there was loads of it lurking behind the greenhouse.
Nic moved the raspberries and planted the gooseberry plants Rachel had given us. Still got more for anyone who wants them. Zoe did express an interest.
Nic also moved a couple of the rhubarb plants to see if they will be better in a new situation. The other two are staying where…
