A few birds looked at this but left it alone I presums with all those hairs it could be quite an irritant to the skin,so I left it alone

Probably the most boring moth around! The female has such small wings she appears wingless and the male is a dingy brown

You're welcome. As Gill says sadly not, although some are really eye-catching but typically they're the ones I never see.
