The first 'Kestrel' potato

I lifted this one today, and it was one of several around this size.

Thanks!   I think that one is still to be eaten, perhaps as a jacket potato on Boxing Day. Kestrel is a good variety and generally tastes good however they're cooked.

That's brilliant! Our potatoes we found had been growing under the old compost bin! They were delicious! Very impressive potatoe you have there! :D

Thanks. They'll grow anywhere. Lucky you.

I dug this red ‘Desiree’ potato up last August and it hasn't been eaten yet!
