I prefer them boiled as well!  They look really nice - what variety did you grow?  I forgot to sow any seed yet but I really enjoy beetroot so will try and get some in tonight.

Ah!  I always grow Perfect 3 (from Morrisons) and a long rooted one, Cheltenham Green Tops.  I found that I hated Bolthardy so always interested now in what other gardeners are growing!

Last year mine did not bulb up at all, long strings of misery. So I am delighted they are doing good so far this year !
