Now you mention it I can see the characteristic flat head. Ages since I last grew these. If I recall they disappointed a bit for eating qualities (flavour).

Yes the flavour is not the best,just nice for the show bench,found Brigadier better flavour but the heads are solid and weigh around 20lb without realy trying
