I've been blogging for years but took a break when Vox closed down. Since my girlfriend has become more interested in growing our own, I started a new blog for us here www.our-good-life.blogspot.com

We are about to start out first contest on Monday with the chance to win a 'Our Good Life' hamper worth over £20 which includes seeds, brand new tools and other useful bits and bobs. So now is the perfect time to start following us.

I am just about to go through this group and start following all of you too!

Hello!  I have been writing my blog for two years now.  I am keen on photography, growing veggies and looking after my hens, ducks, goats and rabbits.  The blog is about all these things and me and my village life.  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.  I am in Brittany, but the climate is so similar to Cornwall where I lived before, just a little warmer in the winter and in the summer the difference in temperature is greater.  I am still in planting Zone 9, like Cornwall.

Hi all, I recognise some of the links going on, great blogs and there are some new ones for me to visit which I shall do later tonight when I get 10 minutes spare from my grumpy teenagers!

I've been writing my blog for just over 3 years and I started a new blog for my allotment. I live in a rural village in Bedfordshire and I grow my own and keep chickens in a very large garden. I took on a full plot at our village allotments in April 2010, I must be mad but I absolutely love the interaction with other allotment holders, so it's been totally worth the extra work and commitment.
