I've been growing veg for a couple of years now in a couple of small raised beds at home, but I'm now branching out into an allotment plot. Very lucky me. So to date I've only grown the likes of dwarf french beans, broad beans like The Sutton - small-scale stuff. Obviously now I want to grow climbing beans and peas, etc., so I'm wondering about building supports. After this long-winded preamble, we get to the crux so hope you're still with me!? Are cane wigwams and cane A-frames just a matter of personal choice or is one structure better than another for a particular legume? What are your preferences?
