Hi Fellow Hampshire gardeners! I joined the group yesterday. Just taken up blogging recently, as a means of sharing my enthusiasm for the very rewarding hobby of veg gardening. My blog is www.marksvegplot.blogspot.com

Any of you Hampshire gardeners interested in going on a "Fungus Foray" to find some wild mushrooms? The Hants & IOW Wildlife Trust are organising some forays in October. I have put some more info on my blog... http://marksvegplot.blogspot.com/2010/09/more-info-on-fungus-forays...

Hi, I am new to this forum, based in Portsmouth. I have an allotment and grow stuff at home too. I am also interested in cooking with my harvest. I don't have a blog yet but hope to do one soon. Rachel.

Hi Rachel; Welcome to the Group! I'm also a newcomer to the blogging scene, but seriously hooked on it. If I can help you at all with getting started, I'm happy to help.

Wow just as much happening in here as in my Wiltshire group

As I am in Salisbury, I'm right between the two Counties but I guess we don't have many active members down here in the South

OK, brief introduction...39 year old (40th looming), with allotment (of 3 years), and garden loaded with raised beds for veg growing. Joined our local gardening club last year and joined the NVS a couple of months ago after meeting Darren at a gardening club talk. Ambition - the elusive red card, but will probably eat most of our produce before it gets to the show bench!

Nothing wrong with eating it mate, just try to leave it until after it's been on the bench
