I thought it would be good to have a place to share any freebies that you might see (e.g. seeds) or any good bargains (e.g. plants, equipment)

I use freegle/freecycle a lot and get lots of garden stuff on there, but have just joined Ecobees as well, you can find things from further afield with them, picked up a rocking chair today for my new baby granddaughter!
Comment by Louisa @ The Really Good Life on January 27, 2011 at 14:51 Hi Debi,
When I was looking for one last year, I set up an ebay alert thing - any greenhouses within a 25 mile radius of where I live. Worked well - or it would have done if I hadn't kept forgetting to bid...!
For various reasons, I ended up buying a new one and got messed around too - it was supposed to arrive at the start of May (which was late enough) but only actually arrived in July - very, very annoying. But they did give me £120-worth of staging & a thing to raise the greenhouse up 6 inches for free in compensation so while my tomato crops were a bit of a failure last year, this year should be just super ;)

Comment by Nathalie on February 6, 2011 at 14:38 I have packets of seeds to give away, so I thought I'd post them in this group rather than Seed Swap as I don't actually want to swap them for anything!
So if you're interested then just message me your address - first come first served!
