Comment by John Bell on January 21, 2012 at 20:28: Anyone interested in growing asparagus or horseradish, Wilkinsons now stock in small amounts , ie 3 plants quite cheaply. also have their seed potatoes in and you can buy packs of 5 tubers for 99 p. or 2.5 kg packs, choice a bit limited though.

In the autumn I bought seed from the Real Seed Company , on line for the first time , would reccomend to anyone . visit their website, chocker with ideas and tips and they have a really useful newsletter, small family firm, looks like a realn gem.
