UK Veg Gardeners

The Garden to Kitchen Expert by Judith Wills & Dr. D.G. Hessayson

The above book was going cheap on Amazon so I thought I'd have a gander.  I was really surprised at how good it is.  OK it's not all beautiful photography and glossy pages - pretty basic really, but there are 680 veggie recipes.  Plenty of ways to make use of your 'glut' veg.

Elaine - I had a few of these for a blog giveaway earlier this year and like you I was surprised. Most of the recipes are simple, but that doesn't mean to say they're not good. I think it's pefect for people in a hurry, maybe not that used to cooking, but still want to make the most of their crops. I liked the section on eating weeds too!
That sounds like my kind of cook book as my culinary skills are pretty basic really!
It has some great ideas, plus it was only £5 from Asda!!!  Simple enough for the kids to try a few things too!!
