UK Veg Gardeners

I have just finished reading this book by Charles Dowding.  My winter veg. has always been a bit hit and miss but after reading this I am sure it will be more hit than miss.  A lot of what it says is just common sense but gives you a different way of looking at things.  I read it all the way through like a novel and will certainly be referring to it constantly as a reminder of what to do when.

Thanks for the tip. I'm attempting to grow winter veg for the first time this year, so this book will come handy. :)

Ah, now you've sent me off over to Amazon to check this out.  I'm usually too busy playing catch up at this time of year to think of winter veg but Charles Dowding, in my opinion, is interesting and very readable.  I enjoyed his Gardening the Natural No-Dig Way, even considering his advice about planting according to moon phases!  Clever of you to pick up on this when it was only published 21st April! Sounds like a good'un.
I like his column in Amateur gardening mag, am trying a couple of his ideas so pleased to hear more about his books.
