Permalink Reply by Tania Richardson on February 7, 2011 at 21:54 I planted pots of daffodils and tulips in pots last Autumn and they've just started to pop their heads up if that counts.
Rhubarb is bursting into life under the forcing pots and so looking forward to the primroses popping their gorgeous little heads through in a few weeks.
I planted a few radish in the polytunnel a couple of weeks ago and they've just started to come through. I have to cover then in fleece when the temperature drops at night but they seem to be holding their own.

Bluebells are showing along with Grape Hyacinths. I've been watching for Crown Lilies to show - my mum used to say Spring hadn't arrived until the Crown Lilies were in bloom. (Stinky things though)
Pondering doing some sowing this week, probably peppers.
Permalink Reply by Simon baldwin on February 8, 2011 at 9:07 I have all my Garlic, Shallots and Onions from the autumn planting moving on quite nicely now. I've got a few things coming up in the herb garden.. Chives, assorted Mints, Sorrel, Caraway, Bronze fennel etc. I have a load of poppies coming up in the garden where they have self seeded from last year.
A lot of the bulbs are starting to show through now... Daffs, Tulips, Snowdrops, Crocus etc. I may have a wander around the wood later and see what is happening in there.
